A native West Texan, I graduated Cum Laude from Texas Tech University in 1996 with a BA degree majoring in Social Work/Sociology. During college, I completed my Internship with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. I also volunteered at the Lubbock Rape Crisis Center and Impact for Literacy. After college I proceeded to be employed as an Adult Probation Officer for Lubbock County.
I graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2001 and became a licensed attorney in Texas in 2005. Throughout my tenure in law school, I was a volunteer with Oklahoma Lawyer’s for Children. When I came back to my home in Texas, I was employed as an Assistant District Attorney and then as a Defense Attorney in my own practice working in the areas of Criminal and Family Law, including Juvenile and CPS, both as a Sole Practitioner and a member of the court appointment wheels in these various areas of law.
I am a Mediator who completed my mediation training in 2020 and I am available to mediate in the area of Family Law including Child Custody and Modifications. I am here because I want to help people, families and children.
